Julie Chen Moonves hosts the sensational summer reality series Big Brother, which returned for its 22nd season August 5 at CBS.Chen Moonves was among the original hosts of the Daytime Emmy Award-winning Talk show The Talk, serving as moderator and host from between 2010 and 2018. In the year she started writing that her passion for writing was revealed. Also, she won an Emmy award for exceptional hosting of a talk show. From 2002 to 2010 Chen Moonves was the co-host for CBS News' morning weekday broadcast The Early Show. She anchors The Early Show as well as CBS Morning News. The CBS Television Network broadcasted a half-hour newscast at the beginning of the day. Chen Moonves also covered the war in Iraq, among other major news stories on The Early Show. Chen Moonves was tasked with reporting from Cairo in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. She went down and interviewed the father of hijackers to an eye-opening, interesting interview. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news show which featured celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis and Paula Abdul. Chen Moonves is also a CBS Sunday Morning reporter, who has interviewed stars like Jamie Lee Curtis. Before The Early Show she was a reporter with WDTN TV Dayton located in Dayton the state of Ohio (1995-1997). Previous jobs included working as a reporter for ABC NewsOne, the network's affiliate news channel (1992-1995) and as a desk-assistant within ABC News' Los Angeles Bureau (1990-1991) as well as she was finishing her final year in college at the University of Southern California. She was a desk attendant for ABC News' Nightline program with Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is as one of her journalist idols. Chen Moonves collaborated with Koppel on the Columbia duPont-winning program Anatomy of a Riot which focused on those who were involved in the Los Angeles riots of '92.
